After finding inspiration in some paintings he saw in a pharmacy UNAV schedule in 1995 he first picked up a brush in his hands and in 1999 with Hugo Godinez opened his own gallery in Antigua Guatemala. Since then showed his works in Guatemala, U.S., Switzerland and Denmark, his paintings are in private collections in Canada, USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina, England, France, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Switzerland, Russia, New Zealand, Japan and South Africa. His pictures all display streets, towns, cities, landscapes and people of Guatemala and other countries. His works can ap0reciar not only a well-developed techniques, but above all the desire to capture a precise moment: humidity and melancholy of a rainy day, curiosity and at the same time, the timidity of a girl hidden, silent witness architecture of a European city, as part of the everyday moments of their inhabitants. These and many other reasons, makes the observer, and also does photography, capturing an impression at the right time.

The pictorial thrills is achieved with the generous, loose strokes of the spatula, has in the Antiguan Jorge Morales one of its best exponents.

Heir and follower grand master par excellence of this discipline: the eminent Guatemalan painter Jose Luis Alvarez, as well as Isabel Timeus or Hugo Gonzales Ayala, we admire and captures the charm of streets and alleys of our first big city well as those of other dear people of the country.

Old walls of rich textures and colors, in which successive layers of paint have left fond polychrome, dilapidated roofs of countless hues, whose often-messy-parts by stoic beams or sticks printed humble candor to our homes, we shelled nostalgic return the past, to feel like we were next to those who made these buildings, and many other items, we do enjoy painting ever, and with his great skill in handling conceptual and technical, we are impressed and plunges in environments it represents.

Feelings of vapor from the soil after rain, blowing gently shapes and the atmosphere are collected brilliantly by his spatula, with a skill and technique only achieved by few.

This precious young painter, whose vocation and innate talent have been sent to the domain pictorial can be seen in this sample has been nurtured first-of-observation and personal experience, then, of course, the example of the good painters both national and country of ancient artistic traditions, in which he has experienced in recent years, more enriching their own vision and painting.

I am sure that anyone who wished to see his paintings, like me, have some in your collection, to enjoy every day.
